Why can't you girls just face the facts, there are no other factors to it or excuses. Her album sales have decreased significantly, and not only that, so has her critical power.

Unlike Katy Perry who sold 100k more then her previous effort, as well as had a critical raise, GaGa did the opposite. Its just the way it is.

ARTPOP didn't do anything the monsters said it would do, and maybe next time instead of going around parading GaGa like this holy figure, just let the process happen, because this wouldn't be as embarrassing. In the end you just have to face the truth.

I'm willing to mark it as a special case, since arguably it isn't the same 'Miley Cyrus' who made these two albums. After all, the whole point of the #BANGERZ campaign is to reinvent a completely new Miley, so sales had more to do with the campaign itself than whatever Miley Cyrus has done in the past. But from her next album onward you will see how this theory holds.

Again, look at all of Britney Spears' albums, Mariah Carey's, Katy Perry's, Madonna's. If you want a testament to Born This Way, you will have it very soon. If you want a testament to ARTPOP, see how her next album opens.
