I want success for the artists I like as much as the next person, but I don't actually get upset because a person I don't know didn't sell as many albums as I wanted her to. So yes, I'm enjoying the draggings (I mean, we kind of deserve it) while bopping to ARTPOP! Not everyone takes stuff like this as seriously as you, maybe?
I think part of the problem is Gaga is too preachy in her music. There's not a pretense of subtleness anymore. I loved the hook for her song with R. Kelly but when I actually tried to listen to the song? Meh.
And she was literally all over the place promoting. She was trying to outcrazy herself every single day, just to make it on the news.
Such a slap in the face.
