1) BTW Ball has outgrossed every Rih tour.
2) Applause has gone top 10 in nearly all music markets. Not great but hardly a bomb.
3) The album has only been out for a few days, time will tell. 260K is still more than any Rih album first week.

Why didn't Interscope/Gaga buy a bunch of copies though? I mean they cared so much about Applause that they paid for it to be played on radio all the time.
Maybe they spent all the money they could on Applause with false pretenses about possible solid album sells.
That's the thing about pretenses.
Well she claimed not to be a singles artist and clearly she's not an album artist. I guess we'll just have to settle for her being the #1 Apps Artist.
