Exactly. Clearly Gaga is not on par with even a Beyonce album like "4" after these sort of numbers (even though the latter leaked weeks in advance and still managed to do 300k +). She peaked a very long time ago and these numbers just prove that she's fading quickly.

Note how I said similar not the same. Check the first week sales of Diamonds, then comeback to me. The song smashed in the end, but through longevity. SIMILAR to the way Applause is clinging on through longevity. I was simply stating that there are some similarities in the way that their runs are. Their promo strategy seems quite similar also this era.

Im not a monster but Gypsy is like my favorite song of the year. the album has only 2 good songs though. the other one is dope. the others are mess and uninspired. this numbers are what I am expecting!

Rihanna had half as many promo spots before and after UA's drop. Diamonds hit #1 . Her follow up single went onto peak at #3. I think it's safe to say Rihanna is in a different league. Aka probably THE most consistent seller/star.
Having said that, it would be amazing if ARTPOP matched UA's success.
