Meh, it happens. She's still doing really good for someone out of her peak, and she's arguably doing better than her current peers. I mean, she's going to have the highest debut for a female artist this year.

What? Applause was a really good hit for her. It garnered her radio support again and the video did well. The only downside was it's digital sales but it'll close to being multi-platinum. It also spent 13 weeks in the Hot 100 top ten. That's her longest run since Bad Romance. It was for sure more than just a moderate hit.
