Seriously who gives a **** for those discounts thing. She sells 1 millions with some cd discount, so what? As long as the discount copy is certified and countable to billboard and soundscan etc.

Don't tell me someone sold 2mil copies with full price is better than someone sold 5mil with some website discounted his/her cd.

I guess what some folks don't think about is whether those copies sold discounted would have been purchased anyway had there been no discount. I know I would have paid 5.99 for the album over 11.99. Who doesn't like a discount?

My faves label. They absolutely DESPISE it. To the point of witholding music from dodgy retailers with a history of heavy discounting practices. Not a single discount during Black Friday weekend etc.

Thing is I've never heard the navy claim that RiRi is such a phenomenal album seller and laughing at Katy for selling a little less than 300k. So it's not like people are just randomly cackling at her numbers.
