The Shiny guide I posted on Tumblr yesterday hit over 2,000+ yesterday. It just hit 7,000+ about 10 minutes ago.
*It's already over 7,400+
And I love it to those who are commenting that it works and that they caught themselves several Shiny Pokemon already because of it. No longer should they be Shiny Virgins. Bless you Arceus.

I've looked around and that seems to be the case I've only chained 3 pokemon so far and found one of each even when I got to 40 on each chain

Unfortunately that seems to be the case this Gen. As soon as you encounter a shiny, your chain reset back to 0 in terms of finding a Shiny but it's actually continuing in terms of finding Pokemon with more than 2 perfect Ivs?

I've been looking everywhere man, looking for someone for some type of method to finding "RE" shinies in the Friend Safari. I've heard everything from selecting all the tipping options on the guy telling the story in Kiloude City to using a Pokemon with Illuminate, being online, O-Powers, and riding your bike and I STILL haven't come across a single shiny that's out of water.

So I caught the first Shiny Gyarados for Unknown at a chain of 74. And then I started to see if I can find one for Deny. I was at around 145 and I started getting bored so I decided to add 74 + 74 and I got 148 and I said to myself "I'd be amazing if I got it at 148 and as soon as I got to 148 I found the 2nd Shiny Gyarados!! I still can't believe it. I'm actually questioning whether this is like a pattern or an extremely random coincidence.
