This is General Airplay Discussion and it's not limited to Applause only. If you want talk how Applause is doing good for Gaga's single in longevity there is always single/album/artist base threads. When you talk about here don't be surprised when other artist fans will point out that it's longevity is nothing special in general terms.

Clock them. Little Monsters have turned out this topic to an "Applause daily discussion" when it's not. If someone else tries to compare Gaga's song to another they jump all over him quoting and stating how Gaga could've stalled at 50 million and she is still going on day 88.

I am sorry to break it for you since you seem quite pressed but this is the thread that applause is gonna be praised for its longetivity on the radio since it's the "us airplay discussion". they are not talking about the video or its itunes performance. You are being more of an off topic than someone who praises its run and I have seen many times songs being praised for their incredible run. Songs that had much less longetivity and success.

Justin Timberlake is having LONGEVITY with Mirrors and you don't see his fans talking about it all day long. That's what people are trying to point and if they're complaining about Applause praise, they're wrong.

If every fanbase would stop quoting the monsters and comparing whatever we post to their faves singles, none of these arguments would happen.

But no, of course every fanbase (especially the kats and Navy) want to show how their faves have bigger singles than Applause, and of course it's suddenly our fault that we're responding to them.

First of all mirrors is being praised almost every day about its longetivity and second of all applause deserves it quite much since its about to pass the biggest hit of the year in spins on pop while they were both released at the same time. If that's not longetivity then what is it? There is not only the "mirrors" type longetivity.

I know it's really annoying, but you should know better how to avoid that kind of comparisons. As I said, Gaga deserves to be praised for Applause "longevity", which is not that impressive since it hasn't lasted that long, it has just rebounded several times while everyone was expecting it to peak at 50 million, but if you check this thread, you will find out 85% of the recent responses are from Monsters talking about it.
