Gut feeling. I think there's hostility toward her that will be very hard to break through. She's in a transitional period between people wanting her to fail, and being seen as the underdog. Only when the conventional popstars get boring again will people want the entertaining weird girl back on top.
Beyond that, I think ARTPOP has brilliant songs...but not necessarily smash hit singles. Gypsy and Sexxx Dreams are the only ones I'd bet on after DWUW, but all three are dependent on how they're handled...and i'd be lying if I said I was confident in that.
I also reckon Gaga may get stroppy and turn off when it looks like the album she worked so hard on is being neglected. She'll be upset and maybe even resentful, and I wouldn't be surprised if the campaign suffered from her lack of corporation with promo then on.
Basically - moderate success, but an underperformance considering the quality of material and who she is. I'm more than happy to be proven wrong, though.
Once (and if) we get them then complaining can be fine.
