If it sold 40k (?) in its first week, then 2nd week is terrible.

PRISM's 2nd week hold
let the monsters seethe
cause with each passing week Gaga's chances of ever being ahead of Katy in sales with CHARTFLOP are disappearing

Lies again. TTAL sold well because the singles got progressively bigger in the WW markets. Try started then JGMAR really made the album big in Europe, North America, Oceania and even South America.

Well P!nk is a true talent so I shouldn't even compare her to these girls.
But anyway, PRISM will outsell COKEART with ease and that's all that matters.

Oh no the deception of Kety's only big opening in a foreign market being counted this week.

Prism has sold like 677k worldwide so far. Gaga is guaranteed to do at least half of that in the US and will probably debut with that much in her first week worldwide.
And without a Roar-sized hit.

Arcade Fire first week sales outside the U.S: 139k
T!tty's first week sales outside the U.S: Less than 170k
The difference:

I believe this is bigger than We Found Love, yet TTT opened with 160K there.

It's a singles-driven marketplace so having an 11-week global #1 is nothing to scoff at regardless of the album sales which are solid anyway.
What about those who can't sell singles, can't sell albums, can't get good reviews, can't finish their tour, can't hold on to their creative team, can't hold hold on to their business team, can't keep the powder from their nose?

And Katy performed at The X Factor finale the day the album was released there.
