There's no mystery lol. The song was originally by Chet Baker/Russ Freeman but she took the piano part and wrote her own lyrics to it.



I want to know who it's about though. I've always kinda thought that it and "Candy Bling" are about the same person.

Some of the bases for my other faves are SO messy There are enough haters out there to fight with, so fighting with your own base seems so pointless to me and makes me not want to visit other bases. I feel like we're all pretty calm here... we only fight over our album rankings

I agree that people will compare their vocals, but I think it would be great if she covered a less-known Whitney song. We obviously don't need her covering "I Have Nothing" or "I Will Always Love You," but one of her softer ballads would be fine. Or "Call You Tonight." Even "My Love Is Your Love" isn't that hard to sing. I would cry if she sang that.

Crybaby, Against All Odds, Loverboy, every Charmbracelet video, We Belong Together, Shake It Off, and Obsessed are all better videos and have a smarter concept than TMB.

I don't think I've even watched more than like 15 of Mariah's videos.

I'm such a flop stan. But I don't care for her videos tbh. With Mariah it's all about the songs really.

With my second fave, MJ, the videos were always like the more important things and a really big deal, but Mariah isn't so much about the visuals and I don't think they were ever nearly as important as the songs. Her videos that I have seen however are cute.
