I wonder if Mariah will cover a song on the new album. Most of her albums have at least one cover.
- The Wind
- Without You
- Open Arms
- The Beautiful Ones
- Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)
- Last Night A DJ Saved My Life
- Bringin' On The Heartbreak
- I Want To Know What Love Is
- MC and MCIIY are full of covers obviously
Mariah Carey, TEOM and E=MC˛ are the only ones that are 100% original songs.
She should do a Whitney song as a tribute. Imagine Mariah singing You Give Good Love.

sfklnsjgbslgn I KNEW The Wind was a cover, HONEY!! You told me it wasn't

I love her covers, minus IWTKWLI

No, I do NOT want a Nippy cover. The last thing we need is people dragging Mimi ha vocals and comparing pre-crack Nippy to Voice-long-gone-sine-1998 Mimi.

No. It was one time that she proved her nay-sayers wrong. She has yet to prove peopple wrong since TMB went to #1 & E=MC2's first week sales. Don't get me wrong, she shut down the doubters in a huge way but to all the people that are expecting TEOM #s, that's quite unrealistic. TEOM era, she legit had something to prove and there was a serious movement behind her to make her a success again - I mean all that promo.

From now on, she's just doing the music she wants to. She herself has to want it bad enough to do massive promo (not just in the U.S. but world wide as well) in order to garner interest but that alone won't do it. TEOM had a mixture of maturity, freshness, originality, and "trendiness" to it. The album, imo, was able to successfully get across to her adult audience - who bought the album, and also to the younger audience - who bough her singles and kept her relevant. Can she have the perfect mixture of promo, multi-generation appeal, freshness, etc on one album? I think not!
