I don't get the point of deleting songs, 10 MB more or less is the same. Especially if it's off your fave's album.
Just skip the song and give it a chance later.
I am very weird when it comes to my iTunes.
I have to have songs on it that I will not skip over.
It's cause I'm really lazy and don't feel like putting together a playlist.
On Tuesday evening, Lady Gaga's single "Do What U Want" with R. Kelly dropped down to number 35 on the Kworb.net iTunes tracking list. This is happening only a week after Billboard magazine gleefully announced that it the song debuted at number 3 on the Digital Sales Chart with almost 160,000 in digital sales. Overall, the song debuted at a strong number 13. But industry insiders are calling foul play.
In Britain, Gaga was disqualified from charting with her new single because she was giving away the song for free to people who pre-ordered ARTPOP. She did the same thing in the United States. However, Billboard Magazine's editors are huge Gaga fans and allowed the song to chart based on sales that should have been disqualified. We talked to two people at Billboard who say that that the main editor and chart editors are huge Gaga fans. "Our magazine has become a joke. The charts no longer reflect what is actually popular. They reflect how a record company can manipulate the public into thinking a record is popular."
We are told that "Do What U Want" will take a major tumble on Billboard's main charts -- from number 13 to possibly outside the top 30. Billboard will announce the final numbers tomorrow. But don't cry for Mother Monster just yet; she is expected to debut in the top 25 with "Venus," another song she gave away for free to thousands of people who pre-ordered ARTPOP. There is nothing wrong with giving away free downloads of individual songs to people who pre-ordered an album. However, counting the free downloads as actual sales is utterly ridiculous and corrupt.
