EDM is only dead in the US thp. It's smashing in Europe if the song is actually good. And WMU is smash in the US cause it's not a typical EDM song but also incorporates country.
The abrupt cut off of Gypsy makes an awkward transition to Applause when I listen to the album. It makes Gypsy as the closing song and Applause a bonus track.

She is playing it VERY safe with DWUW and if she chooses Gyspy it would be safe too. Then G.U.Y. which is already a bit weirder and then she could really release songs like Venus or Sexxx Dreams just to test the water.
