Yesss! It's so distracting, but on Tumblr it doesn't sound like that
Oh, thank god. So it wasn't just me. I almost thought that my headphones had broken.
I also hear it at the beginning of "Jewels n' Drugs" and in most of the songs; it's not so bad in "G.U.Y." and then "Swine" to the end of the album, but I hear it the most in "SeXXX Dreams', "Jewels n' Drugs" and "Applause". I'm hoping this gets fixed when we can buy it in the US.
Bey doesn't really write her hooks though either so I just think she doesn't want to do the "normal" thing. I think at the time a Bey and Gaga collab was way left field and it bought two HUGE fanbases together and she respects Beyonce very much. I'm sure she'll work with one of her contemporaries someday.
Bey is a perfectionist like Gaga and has the ability to get intimate with the fine details.
Following a similar release strategy to Rihannas she'll release J&D as an urban only to retain some of the audience she gains from DWYW. If it flops oh well as it isn't the official next single.
Urban won't be here for J&D:
It only features one "big name" rapper (T.I.) and urban radio like any other radio format plays favorites.
I can't imagine hearing the song being played by a urban radio station due to its production.
Lady Gaga is Lady Gaga.
I don't know... I could be wrong, but I just can't see it slaying or doing that well.
It's literally the best pop hook this album has to offer, except Applause which is paid dust now
