Gaga hates working with the other girls because they just want to sing a pre-written verse or a hook and call it a day.
Plus, she said Bey was too busy
Bey doesn't really write her hooks though either so I just think she doesn't want to do the "normal" thing. I think at the time a Bey and Gaga collab was way left field and it bought two HUGE fanbases together and she respects Beyonce very much. I'm sure she'll work with one of her contemporaries someday.
"G.U.Y." and "Donatella" are FIGHTING for my favorites right now. Zedd, his impact.
I feel bad cuz I was so excited for "Mary Jane Holland" and "SeXXX Dreams" and I feel like they kind of got overshadowed by "Donatella" and "G.U.Y." even though all four songs are a 10/10 for me.
And then there's "Jewels n' Drugs", which is also a 10/10 for me, but it's just... There.
Dope is actually a pretty emotional ballad that the GP will connect to. With a Grammy's performance and a video a week after that should be a strong push to get it going. It will appeal to HAC, AC, Triple A and Pop. The release strategy will be similar to Rihanna's Stay which most of ATRL thought would flop. Winter time is the best time for ballads and ballads are popular now as well as quirky songs/artists like Lorde and LDR. Following a similar release strategy to Rihannas she'll release J&D as an urban only to retain some of the audience she gains from DWYW. If it flops oh well as it isn't the official next single. Sexxx Dreams in May as it has that Summery feel to it. GUY and Gypsy as the final singles saving the best for last. GUY getting a VMA performance. It might seem a bit messy or risky but any major pop artist such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Britney, & Katy have pulled it off. Gaga has similar power and pull to be able to as long as she promotes properly. The key this era is longevity not blowing your load all at once. Save the orgasm until the end.

I think it's pretty obvious she will make a cameo on Britney Jean, either that or Britney's team encouraged rumors for publicity which will not go down well in the long run...
This album is amazing, but I'd have to say that Born This Way is better. BTW will always have a special place in my heart unless Gaga's NEXT album knocks it out of place
Gypsy brings me back to the BTW days and reminds me how much I wanna be in love.
I think my HQ version isn't HQ for all the tracks. For example, Sexxx Dreams and Artpop...it doesn't sound that great. When I listen on Tumblr they sound much better though. The bass sounds bad on the HQ version. Any ideas why?
Does the bass sound uneven in "Sexxx Dreams"? Cuz it's kinda like that for me.
