exactly, it reminds me of vanity, but actually better. she even sounds like "vanity"- xtina on the chorus. also, the intro with the airhead spoken part is like "bobblehead"
I held off Fashion! because I didn't want to be disappointed, but it is definitely an album highlight.
Fashion! > Fashion > Walking On Air > Fashion of His Love > Black Jesus + Amen Fashion
Dope is the weakest link. I don't know why she had to ruin the vocal potential on the track. IWBWY was so honest and I related to it so well, but Dope seems so forced. It easily could have been off the album, it isn't even a power ballad. Really the only mess, but I think I'll end up using it.
The second pre-hook on Manicure was ruined, but it's okay because overall the song is really good. I love it enough to forgive and forget.
