I've been saying this for ages. Ever since Lady Gaga took a
dominant role in production (since "Born This Way") all, and I mean all, of her music sounds noisy. She doesn't know how to produce. She doesn't know how to edit, so it all sounds very noisy. There's a nuance to production and Lady Gaga is anything but nuanced. She's very surface, and she's very in-your-face. In-your-face type of productions for
entire albums is NEVER the way to go, because it just sounds like a ball of noise by the end, with the listener unable to distinguish one song from the other. She lacks the self-awareness as an artist to see that, so expect her next albums to be exactly the same -- very noisy. She likes to surround herself with "yes men" and doesn't take criticism well, so her productions will most likely remain noisy for the indefinite future.
