Paige Elliot's Halloween Special on CNN, MTV & Fox!
From 10/31
Despite being advertised as a full TV special, Paige Elliot's "Halloween Special" was an aired performance made specifically for TV of her song, "Dance of Death (Danse Macabre)". The performance was almost exactly like her performance at the CaL awards.
The set in which she performed appeared to have resemblance to a grave yard, with tombstones, twisted trees and strange statues with demonic figures on them scattered around. She appeared in a rather short, black dress that spread out after a tight corset, with white flowers scattered around on it. A translucent train spread behind her, and she matched the dress with translucent black heels, also with white flowers on it. She appeared in an upright coffin, a bouquet of dead roses in her hand. Her hair was slightly messy, yet styled to look like a perfect dead body. Her skin was extremely pale, and she looked as beautiful as ever. Also, quite like her CaL performance, the lower half of her face was lightly painted with makeup to resemble a skull, being barely visible.
Suddenly, there was the striking of a clock, ringing heavily 12 times, implying midnight. On the twelfth strike, Paige opened her eyes widely, revealing a shocking white set of eyes with no sign of color other than her black pupils. A familiar chord progression of low synths along with the plucks of cellos revealed the backing track to be inspired or sampling the classical piece, "Danse Macabre". As the synths and cellos slowly progressed what could only be a total of eight notes on loop, Paige began to rise out of her coffin slowly, still holding the dead roses in one hand. As this occurred, she began to sing lowly, only four lines, but in a deep, haunting manner ("Death spreads open its wings / Keeping the living in a trance / Frozen and watching the macabre take hold / And so the dead rise up to begin their dance"). She used her hand to crack her neck gently, and she stood up when suddenly, a violin began to tune loudly, in a disturbing manner.. As the violin tuned for a bit, increasing in speed with each progression of the tuning, Paige began to twitch her head slightly. After the tuning, a heavy, electro bass suddenly came in and the song took hold.
The bass kept a simple rhythm as Paige began to dance majestically and hauntingly as she also sang calmly over the bass, a lack of drums or any other synths. Her dress flowed behind her with every move she made as the bass began to waver up and down from its simple note. After four lines, a low, muffled drum was added, along with sharp synths that began to take the regular melody of "Danse Macabre". Paige sang about chaotic events, including death in the streets and the dead rising up to dance. An obvious pre-chorus began, and all instrumental dropped out for four lines except for the drums. Paige stood still, staring at the camera with wide eyes and a shockingly calm face as she began to pluck the petals off of one of the dead roses as she sang the four lines.
Suddenly, after the last line, the drums came in heavily, with no sign of a clap, only the kick, along with a roaring, complextro beat, similar to "Ready for the Weekend", yet obviously different for "Danse Macabre" as Paige began to sing about the dead rising. ("In the midnight hour, the dead perform a dance"). She began to waver and dance beautifully and quickly to the complextro beat, giving a haunting, ghostly effect with her dress. She kept singing as the beat shook, died, snapped back in, and kept repeating ("Danse macabre, la danse macabre"). The beat kept blasting for a while for the chorus until it suddenly died out.
The lighting changed drastically, being almost completely black, only showing Paige's silhouette as the beat changed from complextro to a full, live orchestra below the stage performing the original "Danse Macabre". The orchestra continued for a while, but then it suddenly became warped and the beat became more electro before suddenly crashing once, then returning to the simple bass rhythm as Paige sang the second verse.
She continued to dance, now joined by several holographic skeletons that danced around and near her, performing a horrifying dance of death as if really coming back from the dead. The second verse continued the same manner as the first.
For another similar routine, there were a total of four verses with their choruses after them, following the same routine as the previous verse and chorus, until the song changed into a middle 8 after the fourth chorus. There was suddenly a change in key, with a synth playing out a sound similar to a rooster crowing and Paige and the holographic skeletons looked out in fear. A heavy synth & bass came in, rumbling quickly as all but two skeletons ran away behind tombstones and disappeared. Another change occured, and Paige appeared to break down crying as a sole violin began to play what appeared to be a sad song, following the actual "Danse Macabre" pattern, being the section 'Death plays a sad song as the dance is over'. Paige continued to act-cry, getting down on her knees as the holographic skeletons surrounded her and comforted her. She suddenly began to sing over the violin's repeating, sad melody, looking up into the pale blue spotlight and her heavy eyeliner messed up by actual tears. Her voice was quiet and delicate, as if she was actually saddened by the end of la Danse Macabre ("The dance has gone past its time / And back into their graves they'll climb"). For the last two lines of the middle 8, Paige's voice grew deeper and more sinister, and the last two skeletons hurried off to the edges of the stage.
The complextro beat began once more, and Paige began to vocalize over it with simple "hmms" in a stuttered manner. The chorus came back, with the same mix of complextro synths and orchestral strings, mixed with the original lyrics and ad-libs by Paige before the song suddenly died along with the lightning into blackness.
Just after the performance, there was also an actual commercial for her album, 'Celebration', displaying the singles and playing brief clips of each song along with showing the album cover and its name & info.

I was thinking this. You can do some stuff like "Canadian Idol" or something in the continent, but people are doing stuff like "Anartica's Got Talent" and "North Pole's Got Talent" and it's just silly promo @ this point

Plenty of other shows exist besides other versions of the same show. I'm tired of seeing a million "X-Factors", "Got Talents", and "Idols". Like, a lot of these don't even exist, though.

"Tonight" Lyric Video
From 10/31
A lyric video for 'Celebration's first promo single, "Tonight", was released onto YouTube.
Full Lyrics:
CHORUS:
Tonight, I'm here for you to see, not touch
I'm a cold-hearted bitch and I'm on the run
I'm on a road rage, my hand on the clutch
And I'm always going to go, it's just my fun
VERSE 1:
You can't blame me for what I do
Because I've done everything for you
I've been your slave, but now that I'm done
It's about damn time I've had my fun
PRE-CHORUS:
You should be used to a tease
I run around like a little *****
I'll slip around all day with ease
And you know it's fun, no such bore
CHORUS:
I've got everything you need
I've got everything you want
Touch me, however, and you'll bleed
I can do what I want, and I'll continue to taunt
But touch me and you'll cry
You really don't want to go down that road
When you learn your lesson, don't you dare ask why
I'm telling you this clear, this isn't a damn code
Tonight, I'm here for you to see, not touch
I'm a cold-hearted bitch and I'm on the run
I'm on a road rage, my hand on the clutch
And I'm always going to go, it's just my fun
VERSE 2:
You blame us girls for being just girls
We paint our nails, we put our hair in curls
You men do nothing but lay around
In this silly war, we've drowned
PRE-CHORUS:
You should be used to a tease
I run around like a little *****
I'll slip around all day with ease
And you know it's fun, no such bore
CHORUS:
I've got everything you need
I've got everything you want
Touch me, however, and you'll bleed
I can do what I want, and I'll continue to taunt
But touch me and you'll cry
You really don't want to go down that road
When you learn your lesson, don't you dare ask why
I'm telling you this clear, this isn't a damn code
Tonight, I'm here for you to see, not touch
I'm a cold-hearted bitch and I'm on the run
I'm on a road rage, my hand on the clutch
And I'm always going to go, it's just my fun
VERSE 3:
Plan A only led to pain
Plan B only ended the same
Plan C left us in tears
Plan D had you working for years
We're not meant to be this way
But it's not up to us to decide today
Tonight, baby, just tonight
I'm only here for you to see, not to touch
Just tonight
Just tonight
Just tonight

She's a Sim character that ACTS like a human. Do you not see the difference between having a humanoid character doing realistic things and you having a show on ANTARCTICA, with ANIMALS as judges, or on THE NORTH POLE, which literally does not exist?

SELENA ON THIS MORNING UK
Selena Gomez has been all over the United Kingdom to talk about or perform her much anticipated single ‘His Diamond’ which was released a week ago today. Gomez has put tons of energy into promoting the song released under Tigerlily Recordings, which Miss Gomez signed onto earlier this month and has no made her official debut release under the label who has had great success with artists like Gomez’s best friend Taylor Swift. After a interview and performance on Daybreak on Thursday morning, Miss Selena Gomez was on the United Kingdom morning program This Morning UK for an interview and performance. Selena performed on the show wearing a white dress as she sang ‘HIs Diamond’ in a acoustic arrangement.
We’re here with the lovely Selena Gomez this morning to talk to her about her music and more. How are you, Selena?
I’m lovely, good morning.
Good morning to you too. So you’ve been almost everywhere it seems doing promotion. Are you feeling any of the effects? I can’t imagine it not being tiring.
It is a bit tiring performing on a show this day and the next. I’m performing on like three shows a day the whole week so yeah it is tiring but it’s all worth it because I get to see all my fans and share my music.
You’ve said lots of times that this album would be more personal than the albums previous. What will you be showing us that’s personal for you. And also how was it writing a whole album?
By personal I meant a lot of things. The past year or so I went through a lot. Love, heartbreak, crisis, and you know just hurt. Everyone goes through those things and I just wanted to be open with everyone, set the record straight. I felt like it’s time I made an album that told everything I wanted to say but couldn’t. So I took the opportunity to write for this album and I did. Writing for the album was a bit challenging since I’ve never really wrote songs that much before. I had some help but there’s one song on there I wrote that I did on my own that I’m really proud of.
So when your fans hear this record what do you want them to get from it?
That love and hurt can be the best things to feel sometime. You learn from it, you know? Just don’t hold things in, express how you feel and have your own catharsis. I promise the rebirth will be one of the most amazing things you could ever experience.
Are you going through a rebirth Selena?
I am.

JUSTIN PERFORMS AT NFL PLAYOFFS
Justin Bieber performed tonight on the NFL Playoffs Halftime! He started the first official playoff game (the series of games that determine what 2 teams go to the NFL Superbowl) with a medley performance, and ending it with “Fast Times” having it’s own shine. The showing was watched by over approximately 20+ million Americans, putting it among one of it’s highest-viewed playoffs. Justin Bieber performed the songs – Hot Right Now, Showtime, Paradise and then performed Fast Times, plus parts of it’s official remix. Yes – that means Drake, 2 Chainz, and Lil Wayne also lit up the big stage and spit their verses to everyone in the stadium watching, along with the viewers all across America. Immediately after the performance Justin went on Twitter and said “tonight…was a special night to me. Growing up watching NFL, I never though I’d literally be performing for them all to watch. That was amazing, thank you…”. The performance was a success critic wise, and success wise – as “Fast Times” immediately reporting an even stronger gain than ever before in sales and NFL gaining a good amount of viewership during the Halftime.
HOT RIGHT NOW, SHOWTIME, AND PARADISE – MEDLEY: Justin Bieber went to stage to a burst of applause from the audience, and then the lights lit up and the beat came in. He performed the smash hit – “Hot Right Now” to great reception. He hit new choreography moves with the dancers, along with great vocals. The vocals sounded almost exact to the track on the album it’s self. After that went well, he then performed the second song of the medley – “Showtime”. The proclaimed smash, and one of Justin’s favorite songs of his went all along with this “star studded theme” performance he was giving us. Fake paparazzi’s swarmed the Pop Star to go along with the choreography and theme of the song, and his vocals still remained at the top of his game. He then moved on to perform the final track of the quick medley, a song “Paradise” from his album. The song also received a great reception from the audience despite being unfamiliar to the general public, and he then stood in place as the lights dimmed. He was about to do the most important part of the performance yet…
FAST TIMES – PERFORMANCE + CAMEO: Justin started the single off to a great vibe, and great choreography. Then came the true surprise, the star studded celebrity – Prince came to stage! He sung the song along with Bieber, as the stadium bursts into excitement and energy! Justin continued to perform the song, as the rappers also then came to stage and made the stadium even more amped. Drake entered and rapped his verses, as the cheerleaders all surrounded the football field and did motions and dance moves together. Effects were everywhere, so was confetti, and so was the energy. 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne also came to stage and eventually said their verses, as the mascots for both football teams also then came into the field and threw prizes into the audience and got them amped even more. Then suddenly the lights on the stage went out, and “F-A-S-T T-I-ME-S-“ on a huge projector lit up the stadium.
Justin’s half-time performance was given great praise, saying he went COMPLETELY out the box. Nobody expected Justin to literally do so much, give some killer vocals, and introduce some new choreography to the songs. Then you have to add Slash, and the star-studded Rap Appearances into the equation. This could possibly have been the best performance of the kid’s career. It was amazing.

JUSTIN DOES CHARITY CONCERT IN MIAMI
Justin Bieber is known for his charity -- "The Call To Lonely" and it's work it does. It does multiple things as a charity, but it makes headlines for it's huge concerts that raise millions upon millions for his charity most. He's did the charity concerts in L.A., Canada, Brazil, Mexico, literally everywhere! So while he did work around Mexico this week, he passed through Florida and it all came together. "Hit me up on Miami @ sunset for a #CallToYout". Of the fans that lived in New York, and around the area thousands upon thousands showed up. The concert was set up among Miami's beach with attendance to be said around 15,000 which is humongous for a beach - social media was the boost behind Bieber's Miami Takeover. He also sold the physical singles to - "My Everything", "The Call To Lonely", and "Fast Times" there and all of the profits from them went directly to his charity, of course.
Setlist:
1. Fast Times
2. Chemistry
3. The Call To Lonely
4. Gorilla (Bruno Mars cover)
5. Message In A Bottle
6. If I
7. My Everything
8. Hot Right Now
9. Paradise
10. Everything Is Everything
11. I Still Wanna Believe
12. Lemme Get That
13. Like A Casino
14. Fast Times (Remix)
15. The Call To Lonely (Encore)
For "If I" which features the rapper Big Sean on the album, Drake layed down his verses instead. For "Hot Right Now" 2 Chainz also layed a verse of his own on the song, and for "Paradise" Lil Wayne laid a verse of his down. Then all 3 rappers performed the "Fast Times" remix with him at the end of the show. The concert was said to be very great, and people appreciated the $10 cost being so cheap. Over $150,000 was raised for the charity off of admission prices alone, and a bonus $30,000 was donated among with the Physical CD's being sold out earning them an extra $10,000. The concert went well, and they reached almost $200k despite 15k audience that showed up to the concert, because of the fact he performed at a beach in Miami. Drake, 2 Chainz, and Wayne also performed "Rich As ****", "The Motto", and "Love Me" as the show was being wrapped up. The concert also reached the #1 trend on Twitter in Florida, and trended a few times in U.S. overall. The concert was a success and had given them another spot where Bieber successfully put on a charity show.

Paige Elliot on the CBS: This Morning
Paige Elliot appeared on CBS: This Morning this morning to further promote her album, single, and two promo singles, first beginning with her performance of her four songs (along with her Justin Bieber duet) and also stopping by, like with her performance on the View, to join the cast in their regular discussions, which brushed on a topic too-close-to-home for Paige (abusive relationships) along with plenty of other topics, including serious ones like the mentioned and starving children in Africa or underprivileged workers in China. Despite the depressing theme, Paige added a happy note when Paige brought in cake for the main cast and cupcakes for the studio audience before CBS: This Morning went on with its regular news cycle.
The setlist:
1. "Ready for the Weekend"
2. "Tonight"
3. "Dance of Death (Danse Macabre)"
4. "Spring Break" (with Justin Bieber)
