As a casual player, it really hasn't made
that much of an impact during gameplay as I thought it would, but I mean that in the best way. I mean, it's a big topic at one point, but it's becomes more of an accessory enhancement. And not so much something that deters you too much from usual battling. It gives you a bit more to play with in terms of changing types and movesets, but also has a catch given that the mega stone takes up the spot for holding any other battle item. But that's my casual/semi competitive battler opinion, not sure if any of the hardcore battlers here have much of a differing take.
