Interview from a few weeks ago when she did all those radio interviews.
She talks a bit about her country album. Said people have been wanting her to make a country album for a long time, and wanted her to do the Carrie or Miranda type of stuff. She said she leans more to the soulful side like Trisha Yearwood and they finally found that type of material.
She literally said that's the impression some people have of the word feminist and she thinks that's unfortunate because that's not what it means. Of course Time would cut that part out to make drama out of nothing.
Also, at the end of that interview the lady interviewing her said something about how it sounds like she's winding down with the GH and wanting a baby. And Kelly points out that she just had her biggest hit ever and she's 31. She said she made a pop album and a country album. And said why not do it all? She said Pink has a kid and she's still rocking the world.
I understand what Kelly meant but at the end of the day, she is a feminist. I think she just didn't want to associate herself with the negative aspects of how feminism is portrayed which I understand also. I know she's said this before and I cringe a bit every time she does. But I'm not a woman so my opinion really doesn't mean anything.
I just feel like anyone reading this will not see it the same way we do. I just wish she had said things differently. I hate seeing Kelly get attacked.

Her voice was top notch. The quality of sound was amazing. She was hilarious. After each song, production came out and told her she could go. She said "I'll be back!" each time and ran off stage. Different dress for each song. They were all phenomenal. Stylist done GOOD! They were all red and amazing. The special is going to be funny. They did the comedy skits and story parts over the last two days. Kelly plays a diva and Blake Sheltons role sounds funny. The little girl story teller was cute, she read a portion of the "story" that they filmed in between each song. After the Xmas part, there was a 20 min intermission. She came back out did the greatest hits. She did the lawn mower with a fan, signed someone's cd covers in the audience, and was so happy to be there filming. She talked a lot about Brandon and was very witty and charming. Set list: stronger, mlws, CMB, mkia, mi, subg. One of the neatest Kelly experiences of my life.

Yea she hired a dancer that's supposedly for the video right? The story will probably focus on her and Kelly's part will just be performing with her band or something.
