Apparently people that have seen it have said that the trailers are really misleading (in order to market it). It's a lot more sophisticated that it seems.

I'm still in shock with the first week sales of PRISM.

They're good numbers for a popstar, but this just brings everything back to perspective and makes us realize the massive slayage that some popstars made at some point in their careers (Britney, Gaga, Taylor, etc).

I've been battling with everybody about how Katy is really an albums artist after all but now I have my doubts. I think she's more in the Rihanna zone, Rihanna is my fave but the truth is that she needs hits to sell albums. The only difference is that Katy does 100x promotion and they got the same results. If Rihanna did all that promo she will have a GGGB sized era every single year.

So I listened to Mariah her Greatest Hits, then Whitney hers and then Madonna's Immaculate Collection and lord, no wonder Madonna outlasted the other two. I'd even go as far as saying that Gaga, Rih and Bey already have more better songs in their discography than Mariah & Whit.

Whitney's catalogue is awful. So is Celine's. But Mariah has a TON of great songs. They all sound the same but she does/did her formula really well.
