I understand what you're saying. You have a point but to be personally I don't think they're extremely similar because I don't see the Venus verses being as out there as they are to other people. I think they fit well in the song. The Aura verses however are really weird and feel extremely disjointed from the chorus. I've come to love that though. Weirdly enough I feel like Aura is the perfect track to connect the BTW era to the ARTPOP era. It's like she's giving us our last glimpse of BTW with the verses and bring us into the ARTPOP world with the chorus and bridge!

Of course this also depends on Fashion!, Donatella and Dope.

If Dope turns out really well I could see her doing it. I feel this could be a big GGGB/IASF/TD era based on how the material has been and she's been putting out the weaker material as singles first with positive reception. I'm undecided on the 3rd single, Gypsy or Venus would be good singles to put out around Valentines Day but DWUW will pull in a bit on the rhythmic and urban audience which Sexxx Dreams could take advantage of.

Not y'all discrediting Venus' single power. DON'T do that. The song NEEDS to be a single, here's why.
A) The video can and will be f**king iconic.
B) Gaga produced it herself, and once it is a hit she immediately has the upper hand on the entire industry.
C) The song is so catchy that even if people hate it they'll sing it. That's what we call a smash, folkx.

Do you know when Avril's album went up for streaming? At least we'll get "Dope" on 11PM Sunday if the album stream doesn't go up then.
