Mary Jane Holland is the most commercial song on ARTPOP. Its most likely her greatest chance at a hit. Its simple, its catchy, its fun, and its about something the general public can relate too VERY MUCH because its about weed. It's not complicated or pretentious or too artsy, which I love when gaga gets like that but you bitches drag her for it so I'm just sayin. When she gives you something commercial and simple and fun, praise ha.

Its not as polarizing as you think. There were Monster Wars over DITD and Monster back in the day and there were plenty of extremely messy battles during the BTW era.
