and when i said it was a terrible idea i was thinking of the defenses being 100/50/50
it will still have to take some strategy to use and can't be something where you just put it on and have instant improvement though. even with 100/80/80 you will need another pokemon to aid it on a switch in so that it can be above half health before using BD unless you can get a switch in which would be very nice but if i were the opponent i'd watch what i pick if they have an azuma.
azumarill will definitely be an interesting pokemon this gen but I do think it still has things to fear. examples being,
aegislash
scizor (these two might go for speed natures if azuma becomes more of a threat)
heliolisk like drip said
toxicroak
rotom-w
mega banette w/ speed possibly, if not shadow sneak kill then a prankster DB
overall i think it'll be super solid in this gen if it can be pulled off right
