Did I hear somewhere that Venus was supposed to be the lead single? Gaga said Applause and Sexxx Dreams had a battle but, considering she said Applause was added last minute, I would imagine SD was the original first single
on one of the recent twitter Q&A's someone asked her what would be the lead single if Applause didn't exist and she said Venus... most likely 'cause it was the new single and she really seems to love it. That doesn't mean it was supposed to be the first single.

VENUS IS REALLY GOOD, just because some of you think that for a song to be of great quality it needs to be single material, doesnt mean it is that way. Venus is a Gaga song in all its glory, just cause POPJUSTICE doesnt thing it is single material doesn't mean it is not good. I agree it is not meant to be a single, but it still is amazing.
