lifetime success
neither do tell anything about an artist's career .. Or else, Madonna would've been considered the biggest flop of all time for MDNA.
And tour success >> album sales, if you do some basic math.

Grats for her, that's impressive.
Neither did Beyonce go commercial & generic on "4", specially in 2011-2 in the middle of dance craze ...
She just knew she had put out an album that's anything but commercial compared to her pervious albums, and just wanted to make the most out of it as a commercial project, even though she knew the results would be low.
