The review is ridiculous and thankfully, the vast majority of replies to the review disagree with it completely. They've gotten it so, so wrong this time.

I am beyond shocked that Peter (popjustice) hates it... I mean he loves Bad Romance and i think this is the nearest thing to B.R Lady G has released!

Well, maybe doesn't want Bad Romance 2.0 but something different. Even though I completely disagree I can see where he's coming from. I consider Venus a new pop masterpiece but I still understand if somebody doesn't feel it.

Okay, I keep asking until somebody acknowledges my question!
Are the Venus covers Gaga tweeted available in high resolution?

I don't think her X-Factor performance was awful like everybody else is saying, but her TV performances this era are so lackluster. So clumsy and amateurish, the VMA's, GMA, and now The X-Factor. Her vocals are good but the choreo, staging, concepts are a mess and something you'd see in a high school play.
Her iTunes set was fantastic, and honestly the only great performance this era.

I have to completely agree with this. Swinefest was brilliant, but the TV performances so far are a far cry from her best ones.

Agree about X Factor and GMA. I liked the performances but they were messy. The GMA performance was particularly cringe-worthy for me. It looked like she was performing at a local theatre, getting ready to "tell all of her little monsters a story". Ugh, I picture her saying "gather 'round, boys and girls!!!" (sorry, getting off topic ). Once I stopped trying to compare it to her past VMA performances, I loved the Applause VMA performance though.

Its so annoying that 10/15 songs on the album are "explicit" for no reason. And the (Explicit) next to almost every song needs to be fixed, especially when the songs arent even really explicit.

I liked the VMA performance too, but for example, you could see her dancers applying makeup while she was putting on her TFM piss wig, and I don't we were supposed to see that. It just looked kinda clumsy
And her vocals that performance were kinda messy because of the frantic choreography.

Actually we WERE supposed to see that
The Swinefest proved that too. Showing the girl behind the burqa, the real Gaga. She changed outfits and wigs on stage.
She even talked about it on the listening party q+a
And also in the interview with Marina, Marina told her to show the real Gaga. That's why we see her real hair now sometimes etc.

UHM NO. Sound wise, Judas is her closest follow up to BR. But in terms of an actual follow up to BR, she has yet to make an actual follow up.
It needs to be more than audio. She needs whichever future song that could be the next BR to have the same, or greater impact on all formats than BR.
