I love Nelly. Nelly is half rapper half musician. Ofc he's a flop now but everybody flops. I appreciate that he's one of the people that made R&B and Hip Hop exciting. Him and 50 cent really bought life to Hip Hop at one point. Something Jay-Z has never done.

Well, if I remember correctly, it started (or at least was meant to) as a harmless means of getting an 'old school-lite' hip-hop feud going --- basically the motif behind Kendrick's role in "Control". It was somewhat of a gimmick, initially. I'm not sure if it escalated into something authentic down the line.
