Can't believe Nelly went from 9 million to like 30k total. Unbelievable. I even think Common has kept a more loyal following than Nelly, and he was never anywhere near as successful.
That doesn't surprise me too much, at least not with Nelly. Rap music fans are really loyal, and I don't think Nelly ever truly had a core rap fan base. I remember him being see as kinda "soft" by hip hop heads when he was popular.
Her mixtape days is when she did it. Not to discredit you because I know you know Nicki, but she stopped shading Kim after BMUS. It wasn't until Ray-J made that comment about Nicki at that Kim concert when Nicki got angry and really when the whole feud ACTUALLY began, because then Drake in turn said Kim isn't ****ing with Nicki at the show they were at, back in June-ish 2010.
She still did some disses here and there even when she hit mainstream. I listened to her mxitape stuff on YT so I'm not exactly sure what mixtape they're assigned to . Thanks for clearing the confusion. Even when I was looking all of this up I was still confused .

Nelly is pathetic. He thinks his sales from 2000-2004 make him some sort of rap legend. He went on ESPN talking about how he deserved to be on BET's list of Greatest Rappers of the 21st Century just because he sold X amount of units and outsold everyone but 50 Cent on the list. I'm like "Nelly, when you were relevant, no one took you seriously as a lyricist. **** out of here. ".

Well, did you listen to Nelly's STRUGGLE rap on Get Like Me? It's a mess. Nelly took too long a break. He let Akon, Flo-rida, Future, and all these other hip-pop dudes take over.
