I personally don't care about chartsucces at all, since I just listen what I love whether it is #1 or #98, but yeah she is on one of the biggest poprecord labels out there, it is a bit simple to just say "release whatever you want, we don't care where it ends on the charts", Money also plays a big role in this whole thing and I think if you look at it in the perspective of the label, DWUW is much easier marketable, safer and the overwhelming warm response just gace them an extra reason to get in with Gaga and switch things up.

I don't necessarily agree. I think chart performance should be discussed with open arms in the chart section. But if it's constantly discussed in relation to the subject of her music it becomes redundant.
I, quite like you, don't give a rats ass whether something is marketable, it's not my job to do so. I do give a rats ass if I like the song that I'm about to purchase, and that's all that matters to me. It's great for Gaga to have success but at the end of the day I just want good music. Further more i'm here to discuss my love for her music, not my love for her chart success. I think I shouldn't have ever included the word "stan" in my name cause I don't truly think that's what I am
