The reason people may dislike the US is because of its arrogance clearly evidenced in this thread by 15 year olds thinking they know world history and bringing up facts to put US in a positive light.
I think the way the US deals with other countries is a reason why people dislike the US (or at least the government). America can willy nilly invade x, y, z country and it be 'the right thing to do' but if someone invaded the US then they would nuke the **** out of them, just like Japan.
Y'all are forgetting that the US is European descendants...

Not you acting like the US was the saviour of the war - it wasn't. Although the US supplied weapons etc. it came at a price which Britain is still paying back, the US didn't do it for morality but for $$.
