I'm not saying you should hate your country, I guess America has made many technological advances in the past few decades. I mean I'm typing on an iPad right now that was designed in California.

Just acknowledge that it isn't perfect, and a lot of awful things have happened to a lot of people because of America.

Some of the African countries may be poor, trust me I'm from one of them so I know how bad it is, but they are developing. There arent babies being born decades later with birth defects or ill health.

No, they're just starving to death and malnourished because they have no money, dying from easily inoculated diseases because they have no money, under unstable governments and corrupt dictators because their civic structures were stripped to make way for their colonial occupations to be made forcibly dependent and then orphaned centuries later -- yeah, being poor with an unstable government isn't a benign, "no big deal" type of thing at all. Their poor isn't "oh, we can't have eat out, have cable and X-Box live" -- it's life and death. And you're still dodging my question -- of course powerful countries are usually corrupt and do and have done foul ****.

My question to you was, which you continue to dodge, do you feel that corrupt and shady practices of the government of a nation justifies someone in claiming blind hatred for the citizens just for being born and raised in that country? Do you feel that YOU as a citizen of a nation that has committed massive atrocities around the globe for CENTURIES should be justifiably hated by people who have never met you over things you had nothing to do with and no control over?

If you actually read this post you'd know that i haven't defended the ****ed up things america has done or blindly screamed we're #1 **** the rest of y'all. I am fully aware of the faults this country has

I never justified I said it was Japan's governments fault it happened and it is. FACT is America had zero plans to enter WW2 until Japan attacked our country & bombed pearl harbor. Do I feel sorry for the innocent ppl that got ****ed over because of their ****** government's actions of course I do but it was a world war and those drastic steps would have never taken place if Japan didn't throw down the gantlet

I went over the reasons why the USA is one of the shadiest and most corrupt countries. Not once did I say anything about its people
I don't hate you or any other American because I haven't met one in my life. Therefore I cannot make a judgement about its people. And I haven't.

I guess it is quite mean of Europeans to hate American people when its their government that deserves it.

OK, fair enough; thanks for clarifying what you individually meant. But, there are many that don't differentiate their disdain for our country's foreign policies and government from the 300 million citizens. In this very thread I've read multiple "I hate Americans" posts and that sentiment seems to be widespread; especially among Europeans.

The reason people may dislike the US is because of its arrogance clearly evidenced in this thread by 15 year olds thinking they know world history and bringing up facts to put US in a positive light.

I think the way the US deals with other countries is a reason why people dislike the US (or at least the government). America can willy nilly invade x, y, z country and it be 'the right thing to do' but if someone invaded the US then they would nuke the **** out of them, just like Japan.
