People need to stop comparing this to Bad Romance and Poker Face. This is nothing like any if those songs for many reasons
and "campy" isn't enough of a description that even remotely puts Venus on the same level, they were her breakout hits, Venus is just a weird song that really has no overall direction to it. I didn't get the feeling that the song was lyrically organized she wanted to do aliens and Roman gods all at once and it was just a lyrical mess. At least BR and PF had direction in their lyrics, as well as a clear idea of what she wanted to say.
