Like...THIS is the track they felt was the best choice? The most logical? The one that would build on Applause? The one that would sell the album? The single that would "save" the campaign?

I guess Gaga has a lot more power than I thought. She wrote and produced a last minute glam song about space sex and they were like "Yeah, sure. Go for it. There's nothing else on the album that would make a more sensible second single."
