I believe Marie just explained what the ritual was to Cordelia, but said she would refuse to perform the ritual due to Cordelia being Fiona's daughter.

I just watched Episode 3 and I loved it. Every week Jessica proves how much of a great actress she is, but I hope Madison comes back.
