This. By industry standards, a top 40 hit is a hit nonetheless. A lot of artists at this point in their career (15 years in, mind you) would love to still see placement like that at this point. By pop superstar Britney standards it is definitely not a smash, but if some of you were around during the OIDIA-early ITZ eras, you will not be deterred by that.

Sorry, being excited for 'top 40' was a huge thing 20 years ago.. now anything less than #10 is not a hit, not trying to be a downer or anything, but it's just not a hit at all.. and gold is nothing to be excited about either.
and If she'll perform WB/Perfume during the week of album release i see an amazing rebound.
