Okay I finally beat the game and DAMN this was way too easy. Like, in previous years I really had to try hard and strategize to beat the E4 but this game it was just tew easy.
This game is only as easy as you make it. I just beat the 6th gym and I can honestly say I've struggled at every gym so far. I don't use that EXP mess so all my pokemon are always 3-4 levels lower than the gym.
I absolutely OWN on Pokemon showdown with my Bug Monotype team! I have beat every type, INCLUDING DRAGONS. My team is unbeatable. Also my ace is Crustle, who is Bug/Rock & he slayssT. Rock Blast & Quick Claw GG
Well, you could try Modest with 4 attacks like Dragon Pulse / Fire Blast / Thunderbolt / Sludge Bomb (or Focus Blast). Or you could go defensive with Gooey, Bold and Infestation.
Like the good sis needs a Mega Evolution or something. Fire/Ghost with Shadow Tag to be honest.

I always only use the same amount of Pokemon as they have , and turn off the Switch battle style

It couldn't even beat my NU team (I think that's what it was, that or UU)
