It's nice that Disney started adding official princesses again to the line up starting with Tiana in '09 but I'm kind of worried they will go overboard with adding new ones if they keep going the way they are going.
I think there's gonna be a decent break after this.
No Pixar movie next year, then Good Dinosaur and Inside Out in 2015 with Finding Dory in 2016.
No big WDA tentpole next year, then the first Marvel-WDA movie "Big Hero 6."
YOUR TOP 15 (PLUS TWO): As expected, Katy Perry will debut at #1, giving Steve Barnett's Capitol Records its first #1 since the exec took the helm late last year. The bow of Perry's PRISM will best by about 100k her previous release, Teenage Dream, which opened with 192k in August of 2010. TLC's 20, which came out last week, leaps into the Top 15 after Monday night's premiere of the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool; with 4.5 million viewers it's the highest-rated cable movie of the year, as well as VH1's biggest original movie ever, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. Here's how things looks headed into the weekend:
The Miseducation of Emeli Sandé is closing in on 7x platinum in the UK.
Katy's entire discography is equivalent to 5x platinum. With 3 entire albums (+ the Confection), countless pramo spots, so many Top 10s, why can't Katy's entire career even come CLOSE to Emeli?
Why does Emeli stomp her so hard? Why you gotta be so mean?
