Does anyone else ever imagine music videos or performances while listening to some songs?
For example~ Panic at the Disco!- Casual Affair: I imagine a music video that promotes an action/adventure-romance film. At first, there's scenes of two people holding hands and kissing each other, then by the first chorus there are robots taking over the world, the Earth in destruction and violence/danger going on all around. Some extreme things happen like a girl almost falling to her death (but she's secretly a robot too), a man with a sword cutting through a giant robot's body straight down the middle to expose wires and machinery, etc.
Lorde- Ribs: I imagine a VMAs performance where a person and two backup dancers stay still for the whole 40 second instrumental part of the song. They stay in different poses as they're behind a cardboard TV. As the song starts to get louder before the singing begins, there's a "Volume" meter on the side, it keeps going up and down while a family watches, waiting for the VMAs to begin, symbolizing an actual family watching it at home. Every time the beat has those major "booms" (such as before and during the pre-choruses,) they will change position. When the fast-paced chorus begins, they will all start moving frantically and start acting out some of the lyrics ("The drink you spilled all over me", one dancer will pretend to spill a drink on the performer while the other shockingly pretends to clean it off of ha.) Near the end of the song (before "You're the only friend I need..."), the person takes a bat and slams through the TV, with the two and even more backup dancers following. They then party and celebrate with the family for about 50 seconds before going back inside and returning to the poses they started out with, frozen in place as if nothing ever happened.

I like to think of Music Videos all the time for songs! I wish I had a fancy expensive camera and talented friends to make them with
Final Warning - I wanted an abused perfect suburban housewife in her little apron and such finally taking a stand against her abuser and turning the tables on him.
Still Into You - I wanted a video like Stuck Like Glue kind of, with the same premise of a girl stalking a guy

Yes, all the time. Sometimes I wish I was a director so I could bring all my awesome visions to life but alas I am not that talented.

I think Still Into You did its job, Paramore didn't want to show how love looks like with a typical boy & girl love story, they wanted to show how love feels.
But I imagined it as the continuation of The Only Exception after Hayley realized he was the one and now after some she is Still Into Him and they still love each other and I wanted the same actor from TOE.
Now for that kind of video you're talking about where the girl stalks the boy, that video would fit the song (One of Those) Crazy Girls where the boy breaks up with Hayley and she sings what do you mean you wanna slow down? You know we're gonna be forever. Why are you tellin' me goodbye? Are we really over now? Maybe I can change your mind? I’m gonna call a hundred times. If you're not here when I break in, I’m gonna go to your closet, Just so I can smell your skin.
That would be a perfect fit.
Early release day today at school
Every class is only 20 damn minutes fff
Leaving at about 12pm instead of 2:40
But I'm also getting my first service hours thing
All I gotta do is grade papers for an hour
It's a college requirement
But at least I'll be closer to tha goal
And then tomorrow's no school
My life continues to be non-existent.
I fell asleep early as hell last night. We were let out of class (well half of us were) at 7:00 instead of 9:00. I was so damn happy. Anyway, I got home around 7:30 and started dozing off around 8:30.
I woke up around 6:30 this morning. It's only 7:20.

I already have a whole video in my head for Katy's "Birthday". Lot's of purples, blues, metallic colors, lights... I'm too lazy to explain the whole thing right now.

Definitely. I'm technically a screenwriter, so I always let my imagination run in the background when I listen to music. I do this because I actually like turning whatever I imagine into scripts/treatments. I wrote one for class and got an A for it. It was Bat For Lashes's Glass.
I don't have any pets, but the way they want to constantly be around you is so annoying. I'd probably be annoyed with a boyfriend now that I think about it.
