I thought you guys had realized this since the beginning? Her focus this era is Vegas. Hence why there are tons of Planet Hollywood promo on the Work Bitch video, her GMA surprise was Vegas related and Work Bitch was just something to keep the era going. Britney is doing this album for the fans and she clearly doesn't care about chart and sales. She just wants her music out there. She is getting her money, she has her kids with her, and she's got to a point in her career where she doesn't need to do the stuff she did in the past.
Yet, she loves her fans so much. Like she said on a radio interview a few hours ago: "It's really crazy that people still love my music and appreciate it. It's really nice, I have to say. I love my fans. My fans have been so supportive since day 1. They've been such passionate fans. I owe a lot to them." If she doesn't feel like performing, who cares? We're still getting tons of radio interviews, plus she spent a week in London doing promotion non-stop.
Things change after being 15 years in this industry. She's not Madonna. She's not Janet Jackson. She's Britney Spears.
Thanks so much for this, everything I could of said and more. I think all of us have a small bit of hope deep down that Britney will return with a massive performance with her old dancing from 2001 and blow us away, but as the years go by it's time to accept that Britney has had her prime and is now living off her legacy and her huge dedicated fanbase and she has NOTHING more to prove.
Ugh this sucks, but I was expecting it with radio. Work bitch isn't the most radio friendly song and stations are spinning a lot of new releases right now.
At this point I'm just hoping the single goes plaitinum.
I don't get this whole 'Its not a radio friendly name'. Are we forgetting songs like Sexy Bitch? Granted it was called Sexy Chick for the censored version, but I do remember hearing it on the radio all the time.

I don't know about you but 'Work Bitch' has topped my last.fm charts two non-consecutive weeks and it's holding up pretty well in the Top 3. A smash in my charts. Awesome track, lovin' it.
