Quoting a flamebait post gets warned when it becomes flamebait itself. I got a little confused about the policy today and I apologize for any issues it may have caused. Enforcement will be smoother in the future.

I just got 2 warning points for "file sharing request" when I DIDN'T ASK FOR A FILE.. All I did was simply ask "wait? there's a 13mb version?" That's not asking for a file.. I never once asked anyone to send me ANYTHING..

I want my two points taken back... I don't think that's fair..

I would say that's moderator discretion. For example, I probably won't warn someone laughing at quoted Flamebait, but I definitely would for quoted Offensive or Insensitive or Trolling(in some cases).

Best rule of thumb is to just not cosign posts that are clearly warnable.

You could send in a help request since yours could go either way.

But in the future it's best to not comment on leaks/downloads at all to avoid confusion. Remember, people, you don't have to post everything.

Y'all STAY throwing shade at users/artists and having the users laugh and nothing happens, but when another user laughs at another user's shade they can get warned too.

Those warnings were reversed. As I said, there was just some confusion about the policy but it's been cleared up.

And no one is stopping you from laughing at flamebait posts. Feel free to laugh long and loud in the comfort of your home. The mods can't hear you.
