Rihanna never had trucks drive around the country for months with her album name on it, she never had a deal with the biggest CD retailer in the country to run TV commercials for her album every 5 minutes, she never had a movie about herself, I've never seen billboards and posters in the streets and shopping centers for her albums, she never had radio ads about how buying her album = standing up to cancer, and while radio plays her music a lot they never did a Rihanna Radio Day where literally all stations only play her music and interviews about her album all day.
