Ryan Tedder just gave some tips on Adam Levine's team on The Voice. Just the mere fact they saw Ryan's face, they rushed to iTunes to buy the single.
This better be their first #1 single even though it's chart run is very surprising and I wouldn't even place it in my top 5 OneRepublic songs. It needs to go #1 or at least top 5 so that Burning Bridges which will be the 3rd single will have easier time charting on the upper ranks.

I just can't understand how this is smashing so hard while Feel Again and If I Lose Myself tonight tanked so hard. Both aren't really promoted well except Counting Stars is being pushed a little now since they saw the extreme potential of the song. This era's Good Life. Really happy for OneRepublic. They better keep the momentum going by releasing either I Lived or Burning Bridges.

Ironically, Counting Stars is my least favorite off the singles so far.

You reminded me that Feel Again is just a promo single. I forgot about that. But still, a platinum promo single (who else but OneRepublic and Avril Lavigne )
I really hope the 3rd single wouldn't be Something I Need. But... just like Counting Stars which is an okay track for me... they might find success with that one too. Me and my indie taste keeps getting snubbed.

He gave them tips on singing THIS specific song...presumably singing part of it to show how it's done. I didn't watch the practice session because I don't like any male contestants this season. But his face is not magic.
Voice also got a decade-old Dixie Chicks song fly up to the 40s from nowhere, and that's without the Dixie Chicks around to mentor.
Really happy for OneRepublic. They better keep the momentum going by releasing either I Lived or Burning Bridges.
