The people who are mad that Venus won't be the second single are just like people who don't want Venus as the second single, neither have heard the song. You need to understand that this song has a chance to do well (DWUW). Venus might be a risk by the lyrics alone, they are as unappealing and not relatable as Applause.

And some of you are practically stanning for a name and a few lyrics because that's all we know about Venus. At least we already heard DWUW, and the song it's actually GOOD.

In fact, this type of switcharoo happens a lot. The only problem is that Gaga is very vocal and likes to jump the gun so we see it all happening in public. She should've kept tight-lipped about the next single.
