Justin's had 2 #1's on iTunes, but this is the 3rd song he's releasing and it's hard to keep matching sales week after week with promotional songs. (Example: Dark Horse - 193k first week; Walking On Air - 113k first week)

Gaga has Applause behind her 2nd song to be released on iTunes, but Applause didn't even go #1.

So...

In Gaga's defense though, Applause was up against Roar which NO ONE would have topped.

Not saying Gagas opening numbers were impressive, because they weren't, but she would have had it had it not been for Roar.
