I would pull out a marketing strategy for China. Look 21 get their release in the beginning of this year and it went number one.

Because Katy has way more longevity and if they open to the same it means Katy will end up selling way more in the long run. Gaga has the kind of (supposedly) huge young fanbase that RUSHES out first week whereas Katy actually has a lot of appeal with older people (particularly women) thanks to her huge HAC support and less controversial image so her sales will be more spread out. 350k for Gaga might mean not going Platinum, for Katy she could go 3x Platinum with enough hits.

And? Does that makes any less deluded for a Katy (or bandwagon) stan to try and drag Gaga for doing the same or better numbers that someone who is at #1 right now ?
