I wouldn't say they're going all out just to make her stay. They're going all out because they
know the album is a masterpiece and will be a cash cow for them - not just this year, but for years to come. That is the goal. Maybe they're afraid she will leave and this is a way for them to continue making money off her even if she does. They know people love her voice and will buy a Christmas album from her.
It wouldn't be bad for her to stay with them. She will have the ability negotiate the terms in her contract this time around and now that she's established and proven herself, she'll get a much better deal that's attractive to her. I think she'll end up staying now that everything with her and the label has been smoother. I won't mind, either. I'm sure Narvel will make sure the contract has a sufficient promo budget in place for her. Kelly might not care much about promo, but Narvel seems to get the importance of it. So, I think she'll be fine.
