I am so stressed at work and PRISM is the only thing keeping me alive right now.
FAVORITE tracks (Tracks I LOVE)
Roar - Still love this song ever since I first heard the leak. My 2015 plays don't lie.
It deserved every bit of it's 3M sales. It was an amazing comeback song/album opener.
I hope it pushes to 5M or 6M.
Walking On Air - Still one of my favorites even after hearing the rest of the album.
The beat is just infectious and Katy performing and killing this live made me love this song even more.
I always sing along to the "to-niiight, toon-toon-toniiigt, toon-toon-noon-night" part.
The background choir on the bridge and the last chorus is just heaven to my ears on headphones.
I really want this to be a single at some point and Katy always looks like she's enjoying when she performs this song.
600+ plays since the promo single release.
Unconditionally - I love the first verse. Made me teary eyed on the first listen.

Her vocals on the chorus sounds like she's really pouring her heart out while belting those notes.

Perfect for the holidays and reminds me of my loved ones everytime I listen to it.
Definitely one of my favorites from the album.
Legendary Lovers - OMG. I have the same feeling when I first heard E.T.
I mean what kind of flawless song and production. Each part of the song is unique.
Her falsettos are just amazing and then the beat stops a second leading to the "Take me down to the river
Just flawless execution. Third Single Please.
(Firework is release Christmas time and ET next, so after Unconditionally, LL should be next

)
Double Rainbow - I just love how calm and peaceful this song is.
It's a relaxing song that you need to hear after a hard day's work.
The lyrics which some refer to as cliche sound so sincere to me the way Katy sings it.
I love the fact that it doesn't sound like Sia sang it since it really is a song-writer collaboration.
I want this as a single. Definitely one of those classic ballads I'd want to listen even after so many years.
Birthday - Really Catchy. I love the fact that Katy included this in her album
because she and John Mayer are celebrating theirs on the month of the album release.
I'm not gonna lie. Mariah's vocals are perfect for this song. LOL.
But Katy has her own style and somehow that last adllib on I'll be your gift (I-iiiii-lll be is so Mariah-like) Those vocal runs

If she releases this on my birthday
By The Grace Of God - The live performance was so much better.
I love how she always loves to belt. I know she's not that brilliant of a performer as Beyonce.
However, I can always feel her passion and she really tries her best and I love that about her.
Even though she's not the best live and messes up sometimes, I still love her Unconditionally.
It Takes Two - Such a raw and honest song especially the lyrics of chorus. I LOVE Katy's vocals in this song.
It somehow sounds something Emeli would sing, but she doesn't belt that much,
but Katy added that to the song which makes it more powerful.
I think it should have been in the standard but if the deluxe only has fillers then no one's gonna buy it. It remains a gem of the Deluxe edition.
This Moment - I really think Katy's vocals shines the most on this song which is
the reason why it made it to album. The song just fits to her vocals so well. She sang it on just the perfect key.
Dark Horse - the first promo single from PRISM. Considering how thirsty I am for PRISM, I overplayed this song.

My first listen was like what in the actual f*ck, the baby sound in the beginning is so flawless and the beat is awesome.

The exploding chorus and the adlibs on the last chorus are very well executed. This should be a singe I need a solo version.
Tracks I LIKE
Ghost - This song really grew on me after a few listens. The first listens I didn't really bother listening to the lyrics, just the beat.
Then i listened closely to the song and it just brings out the emo in me.
The last chorus was amazing when Katy belts the chorus. AND NOW!!! YOU'RE JUST!!! A GHOST!!!
Love Me - the kind of song I want to listen when I'm on the bus traveling to work.
The lyrics are amazing just like Ghost. So mature. And her mid-range voice fits the song so well too.
I love the bridge too and Cher's cameo haha. I love the looping piano throughout the song.
Choose Your Battles - This is such a grower for me. The first time I heard it, what kind of "Who am i living for 2.0"? my least fave on TD.
Then after a few plays and i started noticing the production, man! the production sounds like you're really going to war!
the part "stop digging your own grave when there's so much to live for" is my favorite. Nice album-closing song.
and that last chorus mixed with the bridge was amazing
This Is How We Do - The beat had my shoulders moving and jamming on it's own on my first listen.
The spoken part was nice and the background vocals to that part was amazing, i just wish she highlighted that part as well.
It's a good follow up to Dark Horse (tracklist) so you can continue your jamming.
GOOD SONGS
Spiritual - This song sounds like something from early Madonna. It has that feel to it.
Relaxing the nice falsettoes. Her vocals are so on point on this song.
It's not really the type of song I listen to but I like it. It's something different for Katy.
Tbh I was actually looking forward to this since she wrote it with John Mayer. I like it but it's not something I'd replay a lot.
International Smile - really sounds like something from Teenage dream. what a filler.

It's the only song I skip when I'm not in the mood. It's nice though that she dedicates this to her DJ friend, really sweet of her.
It sounds good. It's just that the chorus is not that interesting to me. Just saying.
OVERALL, I love this album. really evident considering i've written a whole book already. haha
I can't wait till i get mine from iTunes on Monday.
Sorry guys, it's so long. It's hard keeping this all to myself
Enjoy!
