1. I hope that cd that's been just posted is a fake. The back is ugly as hell.
The front, though, seems to have the foiling. If it's a fake I'd like to see the person who wastes their time making something like this.

2. Looking at the cover and those artworks released during the last day makes me think about the Applause cover, though. Why did they use a handwriting font first and kept the Applause cover really unostentatious and now everyting's being bulky and kind of tumultuous? It's not as cohesive as all the BTW covers. I ain't criticizing and complaining, I love the classy Applause cover but I'm wondering

3. I am mad that AMPYA still accepts questions for the album premiere. They supposed to tell me today that I get those tickets

She said it herself that the Applause cover will stand on its own and it will by no means represent the way other covers will be treated.

Urgh she deleted the tweet but when she showed the booklet she said its with pictures from the shooting for the cover. And we saw her with the naked ass.

So I think the album will be full with these pictures.

Every artist is influenced by what has been done before their time. If not by direct exposure, the information the artist is exposed to through other people, media, etc. influences them. We are all a product of our times and have the benefit of those who have walked similar paths we are now on.

We all borrow because it has all been done before and we are not the originators. To merely copy is to take an existing interpretation and not run away with it. To steal an idea is to take something of value and make it yours. To make an artistic element yours you have to interpret it your way with your own approach.

This cannot be done when you are merely copying the idea. When copying the idea you are just doing everything exactly like it was previously done. When you have done it your way you have used the element and not simply duplicated it.

It is not required that you advance the element. You can go sideways and even backwards with the idea and you can be stealing the element and not copying it. On the contrary, when merely copying the element you have failed if you do not match the original.

Even if Gaga was joking in that tweet we have something to slap on the haters' faces when they bring up the Gaga copycat bullsh*t

In one of the radio interviews yesterday she actually said it's very hard nowadays to be really original.

With twitter it only takes minutes till two things are compared and branded as the same.

When maybe they share one thing together but are different in so many other ways.

I really liked that and that's the truth.
