Aw, thanks for the warm welcome, guys! I've been a proud Care Bear since the Carnival Ride era. I was secretly jealous of Carrie because she used to slay all my faves and I thought she was overrated, but once I checked out that album...everything changed. It's still my fave Carrie album to date, but I love the other three too. I was just lamenting the other day over how pure and flawless her vocals are. Her perfect pitch, multi-octave range, and crystal-clear tone is unrivalled in country music! Love her so much!

Awe, Carnival Ride is my second favourite of hers.

Ooh, what's your favourite from her then? I think I'd rank her studio albums like this:

1. Carnival Ride
2. Some Hearts
3. Play On
4. Blown Away

I go back and forth between #3 and #4 sometimes though. Funnily enough, "Blown Away" is easily my favourite Carrie song despite the fact that it's on my least fave Carrie record. Prior to that, "I Know You Won't" was my fave.

I just don't use the majority of Some Hearts, I use: Jesus Take the Wheel, Starts With Goodbye and That's Where It Is.

Blown Away I liked a lot more when first released, but now that it's been well over an year I personally feel it wasn't as solid as an album as she made it out to be. I'm glad she took creative risks, but a lot of songs shouldn't of seen the light of day. My favourite songs of hers are easily: Someday When I Stop Loving You, What Can I Say and Play On.
